i saw this in another thread i think. probably yours. but anyways most tracks will not check the helmet they will just make sure you got one on your head.
Same with my drag strip (Saskatchewan International Raceway). They not only check for the label on the back, but the tag inside of the helmet. I think NHRA rules state SNELL 90 or better.
My local track only checks when you are running in bracket style racing. For TnT, they could care less. My friend it a 01 Trans Am ran an 11.9 on slicks without a helmet, d/s safely loop or a cage.
