Any manufacturers make plugs with cut-back electrodes?

Has anyone bought their plugs with the electrode pre-cut from the manufacturer? I read on Corral.net about some Autolite AR24s, but when I called a parts store that carried Autolites they asked if I meant AP24s. I went to the Autolite website and did a search and nothing came up. For a E code 5.0 it only lists the AP25. Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm planning on doing a spring tune up this weekend and would appreciate any info.
