i'm kinda gettin sick of my bullitts and want something new. Im wondering if there are any nice rims for under 500 bucks. i love draglites, prostars, and saleens but there out of my range.

Look at Summit's knock offs of the draglite and prostars... They're ok and not too expensive.

The Deals are out there. My favorite rim is FR500's. I bought 03 cobra's Chrome with Kuhmo 275-45-17's with less than 1,000 miles on them for $550. These deals are out there, that's proof right there. In the back round, right side of the hood. I found 4 Tri-Bar 17 inch with tires (was going to use them for road course) and the 16" Waffle / Pony Rims with rubber came of the car stock. I gave these to someone for FREE (pic below) with Drag Radials on the rears.

i know craigslist..ive been searching for awhile and ppl are sellin rims to high..never was a fan on ponies and i dont like 99 cobra rims..i do like fr's but also a ton of money

I got these fr500's black with a polished lip for $600 off craigslist. The guy was asking $725 and I offered $550 and we settled on $600. Brand new tires on the front and the rears had about 2,000 miles on them. Be patient the deals are definitely out there especially with the way the economy is. I've been looking for a first gen lightning for years and I'm definitely seeing some out there for much more reasonable than in years past.

Ive got a set of used draglites that I will let go under that....

front 15" x 3.5" and rear 15" x 10" 6.5" backspace (these do have holes drilled for rim screws)

i would love welds but i skinnies arnt very ideal for daily driving

i think im gunna keep my bullitts and get them painted black. Is that do-able to paint over the material thats on there? Can keystone or some rim repair place do it?

I ran skinnies daily but I understand what your saying... Any good powder coater can sandblast then glassbead off the finish
