Noits no a jet, but hopefully ine day. It was spposed to be all my nitrous equipment hooked up seperatly, now the only thing working is the line lock. I had a suspension problem at the track and had to put the nitrous on hold for now.

Another vote for MGW. I have the same knob as Nick and I love it---excellent quality.

I have the mgw "gt" knob... but I don't like it that much... it looks real nice... but it gets warm very quickly and then hot to where it hurts to touch it after an hour or so of driving... I wish someone made a nice leather or suede one...

Both, but more from the tranny than from the sun (if you have tinted windows). I live in Western Kentucky (and spend a lot of time in East Texas), so it does get pretty hot. I noticed when I first put my Tri-ax on it got really warm, but a little electrical tape and a couple of cheap rubber washers on the base (where the handle mounts) and it has not been a problem since then.

I love T-Handle shift knobs! I called around for a hurst, or B&M handle ... and i had no luck whatsoever! Pep boys carrys all that ricey-neon-fast and furious crap, so i wouldn't even try to look there. I tried Summitt, Jegs ... they were out of stock! Luckily I found one at a local "mom and pop" auto parts store, so I custom fit the B&M T handle on my car, because all threaded I.D-O.D bushings that came with the handle wouldn't mate with the 12MM thread on the stang. I made a billet aluminum stop pc./ handle cover to avoid using hex nuts as stops. (I just copied design from the bottom part of a bullitt ball knob.) Looks and feels pretty awesome! I guess my being a cnc machinist helps matters, but if you have access to a machine shop ... you can do it very easily with just a manual lathe and a drill press. Most machinists are motorheads, so I'm sure you could get help by one if ya need it. If you can find a metric handle, more power to ya ... if you need help converting, just email me AlienQuiksilver@aol.com. For all of you T-Handle freaks!

Note: Thread size is M12 X1.75.

It's mainly tranny heat although it's worse in the summer... even though I'm tinted...

Flameball

I think I may get one of these. The interior is so dark at night, this may help.

I have the t-handle with the pony logo...silver, not chrome. I love it. Very comfortable, very sturdy, and it looks SWEET.

I found the carbon fiber shift knob offered from Ford accessories to be a nice change, but pricey. Everything is personal preference, though.

I also have the Bullitt shift knob. I don't like knobs with grip to them because I prefer to move my hand around depending on what shift I'm doing.

I like that switch panel! Where did you get it/the parts for it from?

Thanks

I made it out of some aircraft switch covers, Toggle switches, lights, and a piece of aluminum that I polished. I am just trying to find a better way to mount so I can remove it a little easier to add more accessories.
