Any of you 96-98 guys running a blower after a PI head conversion?

Just curious. I've got a '96 Cougar XR7 and am about to do the PI head swap on and I'm also planning on later on down the road running a 6psi positive displacement blower (either Allen or SVO). My concerns are the 10:1 compression ratio that comes with the new heads which is making me second guess it. Before anyone comes back with speculating that all I need is a "safe tune" (I realize that), I wan't to know if anyone has acutally done it and how it turned out. How do the stock pistons hold up?

As long as you have a good tune, you shouldn't have a problem with running @ 6psi.

Instead of me doing the head/intake swap on my 96, I opt'ed for a whole engine swap. I have a 2002 GT motor and plan on going D-1 Pro-charger route ..... thanks to a few friends.

im considering this exact swap on my 00 panther chassis. its a tossup between buying some cheap npi heads and getting them insanely ported with the supercharger or just doing a pi swap and then know in a year or so that i gotta pull the motor or at least rebuild the bottom end.
