It should sound good with the SLP X-pipe.. some people even use H-pipes and prochambers.. either way it'll sound damn good and loud!

I dont think theres a sound difference between brands. An H pipe more mellow or deep, especially with Flows And an x pipe more raspy and for straight through mufflers. Dunno if one is much louder than the other, mostly just sound differences. Not much power difference either. If you just want obnoxious loud get a O/R X pipe and a SLP Loudmouth system.

the higher you push your hp the more advantage an x-pipe will give you. x-pipe will scavenge better and produce more power though. very noticable on high hp cars.

I am not sure if you will really gain any db or is more of the tone of the exhaust x vs h vs chamber. magnapack is a strait through muffler so it should sound fine. sometimes chambered mufflers have resonace that people don't like with x-pipes.

magnapacks and no cats are lound though. I would think there would be some clips on mustangexhaust.com to give you an idea of what you are in for.

get the offroad x for the volume sound you want with your packs. it'll be loud as F when you're on the gas. and 2nd choice would be an offroad H....i just got mine installed with the packs and it sounds badass deepest rumbly tone i've heard outta the mustangs in my area and it still screams at higher rpms. Its deep all the way up 2800rpms then starts making loud crackles almost like gun shots up until 3500rpms, then it goes back to the regular deep tone until you get into the 5k range where it just screams bloody murder. But for you, i'd say get the slp offroad x. you'll be happy with the loudness. It'll be really poppy and crackly but loud as F.

DO NOT get a prochamber...they're much too quiet as the chamber acts as a 3rd muffler. Awesome sounding tone, but you'll be disappointed by how its quieter than a regular o/r H and X pipe. Hope this helps.

You mean the catted or o/r Prochamber? I have the o/r version and I love it, its deep down low and has a kind of deep/raspy howl above 3500 rpm, just my .02 its your money.

yes i meant the offroad prochamber. i love the tone of it. i think it sounds awesome, but i've talked to a lot of people who said it just wasnt as loud compared to other offroad pipes because of the chamber quieting it down...(but it is the cause of that sweet sound it gives the car)

the SLP o/r pipe sounds great with my LMII's! should sound great with the packs too! the packs and LMIIs are similar, but each has their own unique features in sound.
