Alright, I have a few things that bother me about my car and I'm going to be getting them fixed and run better.

I have older Mac Equal Lengths that are rusty and are dented for spark plug clearance. I'm going to be getting BBK longtubes (1 5/8) to solve the "old" issue and get a new hpipe of course because my offroad h has a nice dent in it now. Don't ask

I'm going to trim the FEL-1415 gasket to fit the AFR 165 exhaust port better and open up the collector flange just a bit. Anything else I could do to "help" the longtubes out or get some more power?

I'm also going to get my Performer lower ported and clean up the intake because I have a slight oil leak from the intake anyways so I might as well have it ported when I remove it right? Any other tricks for the intake?

I'm getting my rear main seal fixed...it leaks horribly for being a daily driver. I'm getting a repair sleeve and new rear main seal and replacing the pcv valve screen because I figure I have poor crankcase ventilation....I'm also getting a new clutch disc because my clutch is slipping bad. I'm going to clean my flywheel and pressure plate off...should be fine.

Anyways so here is a list of what I'm getting to see if anyone needs to add or have a suggestion on what to do when I add all this:

BBK Longtubes, matching h-pipe, 02 extensions, FEL-1415's.

Tmoss ported Performer lower, FEL-1250, valve cover gaskets (they are leaky).

I'm getting spark plugs and I'm going to index them as well with an index kit. I will be seafoaming the car as well...and probably mess with timing. Right now it is at 16*...maybe I can squeeze more out of it. I have 162k on the bottomend untouched and I'm hoping I can squeeze off some 88-89mph 1/8mph times with full weight and accessories.

What other "tricks" can I do while I'm doing some of these things to help it run better?

Sorry for such a subjective post...just was bored and decided to type a little

Just looking for suggestions...on what other "cheap" things I could do.:)

Your running 30#ers on a 302? Does it run rich at all? What kind of fuel pressure are you running?

Yep, running 30lb'ers on my car. It does run rich (especially at idle). I'm sure I could benefit from 24lbers in overall driveability but atleast I don't ever have to worry about running lean:p

I'm running stock fuel pressure (39psi).
