You have the components to make 600+ but you need to get in touch with Jay Allen as soon as possible and have a custom cam ground for your application. Just tell him the combo you're running and he'll do the rest. People skimp on camshafts when in reality it's the "brain" of the entire engine. I love when I see guys spend $6k on a forged shortblock and heads and then opt for a $40 used E cam and bitch about not making any power. Shell out the cash for the custom grind, it'll be the best $300 you ever spent, trust me.

Not with 8.5:1 compression and that joke of a cam you have, you want a cam with lots of lift but limited amounts of overlap

Jay Allen has had health issues and was very hard to contact and most likely behind on cams. I would also recommend Ed Curtis or Buddy Rawls, they do a very nice custom as well with decent turn around time. with some more work you should be 500 and over.

If the car made 318rwhp n/a, then it's going to do a lot more than 500rwhp at 15psi, assuming that the turbo housings and exhaust wheel are sized appropriately. You should see in the neighborhood of 500rwhp with 10 psi. I'm personally a believer in custom cams and agree that it will be good money spent, but with those heads, and that intake, even with a cam that's not perfect you're going to make good power.

I agree, boost is boost, you see 250-275rwhp NA cars making 500 at the tire with that kind of boost from a turbo. Starting with 318 NA, you'd have to really screw something up not to make 500 at 15lbs.

I don't understand how guys are predicting 450 horsepower out of a h/c/i 351 with a 76mm turbo at 15+ pounds of boost. I was the first one to say the cam will hurt the combo, but 450 is a huge underestimation. Bolt on 302s with E7s and stock cam and intakes make 400+ with an MPT70 all day long.

I agree with NikwoaC and 1991notchbackLX,FastDriver.I'm thinking i'll be around 5/550ish.YES the cam will probably hurt me AGAIN !But for now i'll live with it till i convert over to roller, but then to i'm not 100% on the CR?I was told i'm PROBABLY about 8:5.1-9:5.1?peace

There are a lot of variables that will play into final numbers including your tune. Will it be put on a dynojet or mustang dyno, and what tranny you running? That will have a bit impact on final numbers.

Throw that bogus cam in the trash get a used F cam for $75 or however much they go for throw that in there. It will make 600 on around 15 psi. You are going to run out of injector.

Now i just read it not roller scrap that idea then. You think it could be 8.5 or 9.5?? might be something to look into...

It's a rare event, but I disagree with you bentley. He's not going to run out of injector at 600rwhp. Now, he didn't mention the fuel pump or the rest of the system. Stock lines would not be appropriate, and even a 255LPH pump is going to be on the ragged edge at best especially at the pressure the system will have to withstand at full boost (55-65psi), but the 60# injectors should be up to task.

dont even waste your time going to the dyno on the stock lines, your gonna max them out on the first pull.

id say it should make close to if not more than 600 on 15psi even with that cam, with the right fuel system.

my stock gt40x, e-cam, RPMII car made 265 at the tires and with 10psi from a novi 2000 it made 480 at the tires with no timing in it, it only got one pull and blew a head gasket, i think it would have made over 500 if tuned right.

Put the crack pipe down if u think its gonna make 450
