What power

That combo has not been discussed a gazzilion times, you should put it on the dyno so we can have some results. Seems to be alot of talk about these big headed 302s but no solid track or dyno numbers backing them

Doesn't Nik have a big headed combo on a 302? I don't think his has a stock cam but his runs pretty quick for a 302. Hard to put a number on that combo though. Probably in the 270 range I'd guess. An AFM cam or custom would put that over 300HP I would think. It's hurting without a cam.

for those saying why the stock cam, I like mine. My car will chug along at 1000 RPM, and doesn't rattle your teeth at a stop light. I like the feel, sound and performance of aftermarket cams as well, but the stocker isn't terrible.

AFR 185s leave a lot of room to make more power than that combo, so if theres a reason you can get them, I wouldn't say no, because of a stock cam.

I would also stick with a stock cam over a B or E cam... but thats just my opinion.

Dammit, I know, I know. :p I've been meaning to get it on the dyno but life happens.

Intake: 265 @ .006", 215 @ .050", .355" lobe .568" w/1.6 rocker
Exhaust: 276 @ .006", 224 @ .050", .353 lobe .565 w/1.6 rocker

On a 112 LSA

Agreed.
