Problem is I don't have one! Anyway, I haven't had any problems with any customers cars, or heard anything from any of other shops in my area.

The only downside with the auto is it likes to shift a lot... But I do suppose that it is trying to maximize the economy.

I have the auto since no one else in my house knows how to drive a manual.
BEST car I have ever had, goes like a rocket and gives me 24.5 mpg at 3000 miles (normal driving with a few hard sprints up to around 100 mph a couple of times a day).
I did drive the manual could not really tell the difference.

Several of the manual transmissions have problems with the clutch sticking to the floor on high RPM shifts. A TSB is out for that issue though.

Make sure you test drive the Brembo GT as the ride is harsher! Love mine, (600 miles).

The ride is harsher with the addition of the brembo brakes? Is it simply because the wheels are an inch larger, or other changes?

I 'd wait for Consumer Reports rating after they have sufficient test data to publish. Took a while for the 4.6 GT's engine and tranny to improve with regards to reliability....

My problem with my 5.0 started after I installed the Steeda Intake, Tune and Exhaust... It doesnt have traction anymore... Other problem is that girls love it and cant keep em off hehe

I got mine with the brembos and I added the ford racing springs with a 1inch drop, it rides great to me, not harsh at all, but my last car was the harshest thing in the world (S2000), so thats prob why i think it rides great.

I second that buddy, I know the sellers at Ford by my house are sick of me coming to the dealer everyday just to stare at the 5.0

Most of them are thinking the same thing. " When is this guy going to actually buy one!

Can you link to the TSB? Were these early build cars or later? I left the forums after taking deliver of my car in July so as to be able to ignore these problems. Now I feel like I shouldn't have gone away.

mine makes entirely too much power. ive been thinking about taking it to the dealer to see if they can pull some ponies out of it. 400rwhp is too much for me to handle.

hope no issiews with the auto trannys, the road tests on the autos seem about the same as the 6 speed manual tranny. iam having a hard time trying to find a auto. trans. ford must have more 6 speed manuals , autos are hard to find here.
