Well the Stangs been tucked away for awhile now and with all the snow we had this past week, it looks like I'll be digging the sled out tomorrow.
Anyone else have a sled?
I used to be, I had a '97 Mach 1, which was top of the heap in its class at the time, but I gave it up about 6-years ago. I decided to sell it and use the money to go back to school instead. I'd probably get another one one day, but not until I've got myself a house first. I'll probably get an old 670 MX-Z or something. I've always loved the Ski-Doos, although I absolutely HATE the look of the new models. .

One of the guys we go snowmobiling with has an MX-Z 670 HO and is very happy with it. I used to have a snowmobile years ago and we spend almost every weekend out riding but then over time, the group I used to go out with either got married and sold their machine or just got involved with other things. It's kinda boring just going out yourself, so I eventually sold it, but a couple years ago I bought an 02' SRX and we started getting into it again. It's kinda fun and seems to make the winter go by a little faster, although the g/f says I can't get into racing again.
The old man used to have a couple Polaris sleds. One of them was like a 95 trail sled. That thing was a tank, it got rolled so many times. I think we had to put three windshields on it or something stupid like that. The last time it was rolled my brother smashed a big rock with it and busted up the suspension. So they fixed that, and combined with lack of snow, ended up selling both of them. The other one was an Indy lite, that thing was pretty fun for rippin around on. Someday I'll buy one, if I ever get out of school, lol.
I was out all weekend, finally enough snow in Winnipeg. Makes the winter go by alot faster. I ride a Arctic Cat F6 and the wife rides a Polaris XC 600.
