Any So Cal dealers selling under MSRP?

As anybody found a dealer selling below sticker here in So cal? I have 3 dealers
offering to sell at sticker, but none below- for a GT.
Maybe I should travel to Nevada or AZ??
Is this thing still selling like crazy?

completely un-related, but I'm also looking for a 06 GT under MSRP AND my name is Brian H.

right now I am pretty much going to go with San Juan Capistrano Ford, My dad buys from their Fleet Sales Manager and so there is already a good relationship. I am probably gonna get it ordered this week or next.

But to answer your question I haven't seen a GT under MSRP at any dealer so far.( looking in the N. OC/Whittier areas.)

good luck,
Brian

I'm in AZ... don't bother coming here. All at MSRP (or more).

I had an intresting experiance at galpen ford in Resida, (which is in the valley). They let me test drive a GT 5 speed with no questions asked, he just took me to one when i asked him. didnt even ask for a drivers liscense or if i could drive stick or not. They where extremly polite and helpfull (even though they had no clue what they where talking about when i asked a technical question.)

its been 2 weeks now and all they have done is call me for the information i asked for they still havent asked me if i want to buy the car or not. No hassle at all. Im sure there setin me up but you might want to give them a try.

a little bit of a drive, but worth it

I got mine through Fiesta Ford out in Indio. No mark ups over MSRP - tell them you would like to get a little under for the drive out there... that might work.... hehe.
Ask for Brian Q. in the Internet dept. 760-772-8000 x406

When I picked mine up back at the end of August - he only had a few on order and all had VIN's at the time. So the wait may not be too long. But as everyone else says... don't wait to long to order.

I called galpin in Sept 04 and they told me they had 17 gt's in stock and I should just drive down to test drive. When i got there, there was some sort of confusion as there was only 1 mustang there and it was a v6 auto. They were a waist of time for me, but i am happy to hear you had a better experiance.

I went to Galpin on Sunday, it's a 1.5 hour drive for me, but I'm pretty hot to get a new or newer car. Drove an 06, they had more than a dozen gts on the lot. Got really great service from a salesman named skip. Not pushy, very nice. Not really knowledgable about mods and the like. I was asking if they could install ford racing 4:10s, Cat Back and racing springs and keep my warrentee intact.

Ultimately they got some kid who was in management, also really nice kid. He has a modded Trans Am and CTS-V (sacrilidge I know) but he was into the modding thing.

Told me that the springs and exhaust was not a problem. However he didn't think they could do the rear end under warrentee.

I'm still stuck with a decision. I liked the car and it's a quick little devil. But I have to choose between an 06 which I will lightly mod and my buddies 95 Saleen S351R (26000 miles, clean tight and fricking fast as heck). I know they are very different cars, but that is where I am.

In the last month he's put in an new tko 600, cuz he didn't like the way it was shifting and currently he has the engine torn down to replace the pistons with forged units and have everything balanced and blue printed to the nth degree.

After that we're going to make an appointment to drop it off at grc to get a lightning mass air meter and larger fuel injectors, not so much for HP as insurance against a lean running condition. That and obviously a tune for dependability over ragged edge HP.

It'such a rush, but do I want to trade that for the dependability of a Brand new car? I'm fricking changing my mind more than my wife shopping for purses.
