Sorry.. I've never replaced a clutch before.

Was wondering if you guys could take a look at this pic and tell me what kind of life this T5 clutch has left in it. The flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate look like they are in good condition I just can't tell how much life is left. Was thinking that if it's got 50% or more left I'd probably re-use. Thanks.

Good picture, bad picture

Well, it's kind of tough to say the amount of friction material yet. I'd hazard to guess better than 50% though based on that one shot.
Problem is I certainly would not under any circumstances, put that disc in my car. The rust on the steel plate is deep. This seriously affects the stability of the clutch disc.
Discs are cheap. Ed Curtis has a decent disc in his garage sale area for cheap. You might check if he has it still.

If the pressure plate has the same kind of deep rust...toss it out too. Just not worth loosing toes, feet and legs to something like that.

Good luck,

And another pic. The pressure plate doesn't seem to be rusted at all. The surface rust that is there is partially because of the fact that I sprayed the whole thing with degreaser then pressurewashed it.
