any tips on painting 10 holes and faded door/mirror area?

I have a 88 coupe and i am ready to paint the 10 holes black, and keep the caps chrome. just wondering what paint you used and pics if you got them. also the upper door and mirror area is faded on my 5.0 and I need to paint it. just looking for any tips, especially on paint. I dont want it to look sloppy but it is definitely something I am going to do myself.

Our local Napa store sells a specific black "bumper paint" to imitate the factory black look. Not dull but not glossy either. Just right if you ask me. Regarding the wheels, make sure the paint is an engine paint so it'll stick to the aluminum, or try eastwood for some wheel paint.....
