I have ceramic coated shorty headers. I will be running a Bassani Catted X-pipe. I have seen that there are some ceramic coated mid-pipes on the market (maybe not so much for the fox). Is there any value in this?

I know i can't get the cats coated, but these two tubes are separate. Any value in getting these coated? Doing so would have ceramic coating from the headers down to approx under the shifter area.

Or don't bother?

I can't think of a good reason to do it.

I can't think of a good reason not to do it either. You could probably get them both done for around $100 plus shipping. I had a motorcycle exhaust done recently in flat black. It looks awesome.

Extra rust resistance sounds good, and less escaping heat under your feet sounds good. I cannot think of a downside if the cost is not a problem.

I had both my arh headers and x pipe ceramic coated on my 03 cobra. I figured why not? It only cost about 120 dollars for the x pipe to be done.

I’ll try and get some quotes on those two tubes. If cheap enough, I’ll do it.
