My windshield wipers must have scratched my windshiled (long ago, before I got the car)... any way to get these scratches out via polishing or other means? I hate looking through them, its maddening heh.

Thanks

same problem - i checked with some glass shops til i found a local shop that did polishing - he looked at it and said no! - i could just barely feel the scratch with my nail but that was enough - they do sell polishing kits on the web (google search glass scratch repair) but they are the same kits that the glass shop uses with polymers etc... besides the glass shop told me even if they could repair it they would charge more than it would be to have them replace the w/shield with labor, parts, etc... appx 225.00 installed price for a NEW windshield in a 70 fastback mustang

Windshields they do but as far as side and back glass go I do not know. The only problem with new windshields is that they are thinner than the original and it makes it harder to seal them and make them fit properly on a car with a gasket seal. The other problem is that there only seems to be tinted ones available from what I have found.
