Anybody ever had to replace a title?

You have to go to the dmv or maybe a notary can do it. Then you pay some money and they send parerwork to the statte capitol and then you can get a replacement. I think that's how it works.

I lost my title completely
I just went to DMV, told her I lost my title
filled out a sheet of paper, paid 28$ and got my title in the mail 2-3 weeks later

yeah Mike..I think your problem as you say is that the title is still in the other guys name.......We have 4 private owned license bureau's and when I fudged the numbers on the OD reading....just a slight slip of the pen....they woudn't touch it....I could not get a hold of original owner...went to the state facility and "swore" on the mileage............see if you can get the "right" person....by that I mean willing to help......and see if they can guide you.........
