Can you please check on the cam for any markings stamped in it such as ZE or ZZ.. I am retro-fitting a roller cam into my Lightning/Bronco and can't seem to get a straight answer..

The part number for a 90 HO 5.0L cam is E8ZE-CA. Don't know if that helps you or not - don't have a stocker laying around to check.

Unless you know the history of the cam - it's best to measure. Measure width (base circle) and then from the peak of a lobe to the backside - subtract the two dimensions. If you get .278" -- that combined with the "ZE" designation will make the odds really high that you've got a stock HO cam. Whether it's an 85-88 (266/266) or 88-95 (276/266) you won't know til you put it in and measure duration.
