Anyoen know how to wire a 2 post style coil?

I got a coil for my flamethrower kit, but its one of the old 2 post Tubs style ones. I ran a wire off my coil back, through a realay of course. I need to know how to connect the coil, it has a + terminal, and a - Terminal on teh top. It also is one of those external resistor types and i got the resister, just i cant get it to spark, i took it off the tan wire on the car's coil. Anyone know how to connect this? Like how it works? thanks

Maybe i am wrong but i don't think you should use this? Or rather would want to use this. The canister style is CDI which is for the older duraspark ignitions. I run a CDI system on mine and those 2 wires for the + and - run right from my annihilator control box. I thought the Pertronix stuff was really to eliminate the breaker point style ignitions.

Perhaps an aftermarket TFI coil for Ford EEC-IV is what you need. Also you can achieve higher output with a newer style TFI coil than CDI is my understanding anyway.
