I just filled up over the weekend at a WAWA Gasline using the 93 octane (about 7 gallons). A few minutes after filling up and traveling down the highway the car started to jerk, like a miss fire, but is only happened avery few minutes. by the time I had driven it 20 minutes it was really giving me the herky jerky's. after 40 minutes and almost home the car would hardly idol, it would reve and then almost stall, and any time I gave it gas it would lurch then sputter.

I did notice that WAWA is now using gas mixed with Ethanol, I contacted there corporate office in Conordville PA and they said the mixture ravired from 10-20 %. what I wanted to know is will the motified 5.0 run ok on gas with enthanol? I have a 345 GT40 crate motor, see my sig for the rest of my mods.

Anyone else have a problem with WAWA gas????

These days I don't run gas from anywhere but a mobil, shell, exxon, etc station.. No little side garages. But I have noticed at the one station I get gas at it says it has 10% ethenol.. My car seems to run better with it than gas without it.. Can't figure out why though.

When i first got my car it needed a tune up badly, had over 100k with stock plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter. I could only run gas from stations like zZsKyZz mentioned, any other ones it would ping really bad. But ran fine on fuel from those stations. I never realized until then that there actually was much of a difference in gas from different places.

I've always had a problem running gas from WaWa in both my Mustang and 5.0 Explorer. It always tended to make the vehicle miss or ping. Sheetz gas does this to for some reason.

It doesn't make mine ping, it just runs bad, doesn't accelerate as well, and seems to burn the gas really fast.

I pretty much get my gas only from Wawa. Its the cheapest place to get it. I've never had any problems.
