I had heard that at least one Mach with nitrous kicked a rod out the side on the dyno over there. Just what I heard, figured I'd ask before I jumped in with both feet.

I know the car you are talking about. Its a guy from Cranston. I remember the car. VERY little work done. He took all the aftermarket parts off of it and took it to Rizzo Ford. Got so fed up with the car, Rizzo gave him a different one in trade.

Rizzo replaced the engine 3 MORE TIMES with a different owner. Last I seen of it ..... sitting on their used car lot section. No one wants it and Ford won't destroy it with a lemon law. They can't find out whats wrong with it. It just doesn't like engines.

As far as a link for Dezzzzz ......... http://dezracing.com/

I've known Mike since '96 when I started racing and he seems to be a good guy who knows quite a bit. From what I hear he seems reliable. I don't know if has ever built any cars to be competive on a national level though.
Dealing with laferriere racing can be :bang: when trying to call or getting something installed fast. He's VERY busy. But when the car is done his cars run as fast as anyones in New England with similar mods for the last sevral years. :hail2: He wont give it back to the owner untill its running 100% and ALL of his installs look factory. Over the last 10 years Eric has had his hands on some of the fastest 'stangs in New England :D

Mike Dez has built and/or tuned Multiple competitive cars in the NMRA and FFW. Including his own Top Ten finish last year in the NMRA. This year he has not been out doing a lot of racing because the shop has been extremely busy.

Did he end up getting his real street car in the 9's?

I don't think its done yet. I heard that he went to the MU car show with a few nuts and bolts holding it together. It was just to get it there. I could be wrong.

maybe he will have it ready for tasca day next weekend. If everything goes aright Mike should do prety well with it.
I'll be happy if I don't break anything.

I believe he either went to Kentucky or Pennsilvania.......I was at his shop on Wednesday taking my slip on cats off with Brian to get my car ready for Tasca day.

Mike defiantly has the basses covered over MPE and Eric in every way......knoledgable and has most of the resources there.

I have been friends with Mike since back when he used to work at Rizzo....been with him through my 630rwhp street car now a 1000+ hp maniac.....He also did the installs and tune for my 03 Cobra and I have sent many many people to him, I wouldn't put my rep on the line unless I knew he was a solid guy.

Some guys are better than others at certain things, when I say he has the basses loaded over them I mean he is the most well rounded between them hands down
