We bought it for my wife to have something cool and new to drive on sunny days. It is currently stored for the winter, we wanted an early VIN # just for the heck of it. I have lost big on stocks so I really could care less what it costs to keep this GT like new for her to drive cruisen the main strips and even some car shows event. It will receive some mods, for now just light ones that will not effect the saleably of the vehicle. We will see what comes along in the future and may go for that. It's just a hobby to play with and yes the GT is one of many. Although at show a well kept and modifed GT receives just as many onlookers and trophies as my Cobra. That is the use of this car for the time being for us.
Will this go up in price in future, maybe after twenty years if there is still gasoline around. Until then it is an expense just to toy around in.
Anyway aside from that we are old enough to know this car is an awesome interpretation of its past and the present day, its hard as hell not to be driving her all the time. She's just to sweet look'n right now to spread road salt all around her. So she sits with just 264 miles till mid springtime.
