ok, so i started to notice the doors on the GT dont close as well as they used to. i started looking for the problem and it seems as if the windows are going too far up and not going under the weather stripping like they used to which is causing the door not to close as well. it also makes a slight gap between the weather stripping and the window. i can fix it by making sure that i either A) dont roll the windows up all the way until they stop or B) roll the windows down, close the door, and then roll the windows up to make sure they are going under the weather stripping.

Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?? im pretty sure it isnt the weather stripping. it just seems like the windows are rolling too far up

Both sides are like this?
Regulators failing have been known to do this. My 2004 driver's side regulator has been replaced twice now, since August 2004.

The dealership replaced mine under warranty. It apparantly is a pretty common problem in our cars.

I don't have the receipts right now.

When you call, feel them out over the phone and see if they can give you some advice and diagnosis just in case the regs are not the problem.

SS03, there have been a lot of good threads on this. I believe recently RandyStinchcomb posted some prices and someone else posted step by step fix instructions.

My driver side window does the same thing. The glass has become dislodged from the metal bracket inside the door that pushes it up. So, when you close the window, the bracket swivels and pushes the window too far. I plan to find some adhesive to glue the window back into the bracket.
