Anyone else remove there seat belt guides?

They seem to stay in place if your under 5'8" or so. My g/f has no problem with her driver side coming out, but as soon as I get in the passenger side, out mine comes. Same in my car. I couldnt keep the driver side belt in, but her side stayed in perfectly. I took them out of mine, she wants to keep hers in though

I took off my driver side ring today. I was able to get a small ratchet to the outer screw but the inner screw doesnt have enough room for the ratchet. The one i could get the ratchet to was only for a few turns then i had to use a wrench to hold the bit. The inner one was a PITA. I think i marred up the leather a lil bit with the needle nose pliers trying to get that inner one out. But you cant see that with my headrest down anyway so I am not to worried about it.

I think I will wait a couple days to do the passenger side. I also managed to lose the bit under the back seat. Thing popped out and into a crack behind the back seat. So i think that bit is gone for good.

Guys its a million times easier if you take the headrests off. Im not good at explaining these things but all you have to do is slide something down the thing that connects the headrest with the seat (from the back, not the front). Press around until you hear a click and it comes right out... if that made any sense. I think one of those flexible, thin saw blades works real good for that, just be careful not to scratch up the leather.

raise your headrest about half wayslide a hack saw blade down the front of the metal bar until it stops. Holding the blade firm and push down a little so the blade is between the clip and the groove. push the hack saw blade further down and lift the headrest out.
