It was a meteor that came in and the loud boom was a sonic boom from it. I was pulling into my apartment building coming home from work and saw and heard the whole 2 seconds of it. At first I thought it was fireworks, then an attack by the Al-Queada(sp?), then I saw it on the news today.
I never heard it. Though I have been told when I'm asleep. A bomb could go off and I'd still be asleep. Funny though if my car alarm goes off. I'm up and running.
