I havent's but my bro inlaws had a bent push rod only on a big block 440. the pushrod came out at higher rpm and the lifter was also ejected into valley of block and engine lost all oil pressure.
my friend has bent pushrods b4 without hurting the valve.
he had bone stock e7 heads and put a triple valve spring on it. the boss for the springs was too high and the innermost spring would bind up and the pushrod would bend.

triple springs on a bone stock e7 head? what the heck cam was he using? man i bet that car ran like crap with a cam that would need triple springs in combination with stock e7 heads.
i bent my exhaust valve....dropped a nut in the intake when i was changing my injectors..did not know till i fired up the engine.did not run long..maybe 10 sec then it locked up !
My dad did at the track. 351 cleveland, bent 7 pushrods and snapped about 2 inches off the end of one. Didn't bend any valves or mess up any lifters, all he did was pull the old pushrods out and replace them.
