I just got a neon underbody kit and wanted to know if anyone out there has ever mounted one on a Stang? Specificly how you mounted the side lights . Did you screw through the rocker pannels underneith? Looking under there it doesn't look like it will be easy, any help would be great guys.

LOL, you probably picked the wrong site to post a Q like this on...put on your flame retardent suit LOL....and BTW I have NO idea how to mount those things...guess would be to use 3M double sided tape.

Um, bad question to ask around here man...but you want to mount them on a place that WILL NOT FLEX. If you mount them somewhere where there is a chance the panel will flex, the light will snap and break, unless they are led lights, I think you can mount those just about anywhere. I mean, not like I have ever mounted any, but lets just say I know a guy that knows a guy that has done it before.

Ya I know this isn't really the site for this, but it is worth a shot. The kit comes with clamps that screw in, but the underside of the car is all curved other then the under side of the rocker pannel, keep the help comin if you guys can. Thanks

eh i dont know how well that will fit on a stang... if it does, it shouldnt... but either way, 3m tape would prolly be the way to go, make sure to put them in a good place, or it cold get messy

true, but at least here, if you get a ticket for them. the only signoff is to show that you have completely taken them off. the same is true for hydraulic suspensions.

Probably cheaper and easier to drive around in full clown makeup...
you'll get the same reaction from other Mustangers.

I mounted my side one on the rocker panels on my old Contour SVT ! That thing was pimpin, but i got cheap neons and they broke a week later, i was so pissed ....friggin $40 ebay specials ......opt for the LED ones if you want, much brighter and more durable.....

But Neons + Mustang =

But whatever you like is what you should do to your own car.

yup, safety hazard. they dont know the quality of the components or the quality of the install. generally the drivers of those vehicles do things the cheapest way possible.
