How does he not have driveshaft rubbing problems?

I'd like to know how he doesn't have driveshaft rubbing problems too. Anyone found a good way to get rid of the noise? I've been thinking about an adjustable pinion snubber, but don't know what kind to get or where. Any ideas?

I got a good gouge on my DS and then swapped in this Mac adjusable snubber...Haven't hit again since the install..

Great, I'll be getting one of those shortly then.
What kind of clearance do you have with it in? I've got about 4 inches between the diff and where it would bolt in, is this enough clearance?
Any changes in ride?

bend the ebrake cable back too that also helps alot too nad the car looks sick!

You have plenty of room...its adjusts so no problem...Never really noticed a dif in the ride...it hooks pretty good...thats one of the reasons i got it....kinda helps out both areas...i pulled 1.9 60s with Kuhmos...so it does help there..

I took the upper stop off when I removed the dogbone, so it just hits right on the rearend..i never really thought much of it when i removed that plate...its what the snubber uses as a stop...

My first adjustment was to low, as the rear "bottomed" out...i kept moving positions til the ride came back over bumps....





You can see the "score" the E-bracket put in mine...was purdy damn scary when i seen it... This was 2 Summers ago and its no worse.... So i say the snubber worked...

I like that car alot! Glad to see someone going balls out on a laser red car. Not too many people do.

I bought the same pinion snubber, mostly because it's red. However, I have the Steeda springs in my 'stang, and even at its shortest setting I still bottomed out. I had to cut both parts of the snubber to get it short enough. But at least I have my ride back, and the driveshaft doesn't rub anymore.

First time I bottomed out on the new pinion snubber it scared the pants off of me. Thers's a good sized bump in the road on my way to work that I can't always avoid. I hit it good this time and heard this really loud *THUMP*. I had no idea what the hell just happend - I thought something broke. Then I remembered that the driveshaft usually rubs on the e-brake cable over that bump. Not this time, thanks to the new pinion snubber.

I'm a little more careful over the bumps now, and I haven't hit the snubber since.
