I've had the L88 hood scoops on everything from a 66 Chevelle SS that came w/ it allready on when I bought it, to a 76 Camaro and a 78 Trans Am SE.
I recently thought that I'd give one a shot on my 91 Silverado (pic attached) and it looks pretty good with the trucks front end style, just didn't care for what was avail. conventionally. Truck's not totally completed yet in pic.
Has anyone ever seen one on a classic Stang?, if so how did it look? I've seen over the years everyone try about everything from custom cars to bikes.
I'm not planning on putting one on mine, but was just curious what it would look like on say a 68 Fastback. I think if it was done right w/ the right paint themes it would look great and the car and scoop would both compliment each other by their design.
Edit: From looking at a 1967 Shelby GT 500 Eleanor (pic attached) it seems at that time they were thinking a similar higher raised design but not to the extream of the L88 Chevy used on their vet.
