I spent most of my time at the flea-market... They had great deals, I bought the 750cfm Edelbrock carb (couple months old) for $200 and works great.
My buddy bought some real nice 69 heads (closed chambers, 58cc) for $40 and they were in good enough shape to just install on to the motor without any work done to them. He also found an Accel dizzy for 50 bucks (lucky bastid).
I almost bought a NOS cheater kit (bottle, carb adaptor, everything) for $500, the kit was still in the sealed packaging and was a 150shot I think. There was also a dry kit for EFI engines for $200 used. Lots of chevy parts though oh and I saw a MSD 6A box go for like 80 bucks.
We didn't check out the cars much but we drove down main street and I managed to scare an old lady by blipping the throttle. hahaha she jumped in the air OMG that was so funny. I also got some alarm systems going...
