Anyone going to the SVTOA show and go on 9/12?

The more the merrier, sounds like a fun event and pretty darn cheap too!

For those interested, please use the contact info on the flyer, or let me know directly and I will pass the info along. There is a danger of this event being cancelled if there is not enough interest, so if you want in, make sure you are counted! :nice:

Thanks!

Hey Tschlientz,

Not sure if you went to the last SVTOA meeting or not. I am trying to find out if people can go to the show and not participate and not have to pay the 30-35 bucks.

I have asked a couple of higher ups but, the way they respond to E-mails it could be next month before I get an answer. Do you happen to know? People are asking me so I need to let them know ASAP.

Yeah, I missed the last meeting too. I will call and confirm, but Im pretty sure if people just want to stop by and take a look that there is no fee. I think the money is just for those who either want to actually be in the car show, or run the agility course (or both). I'll post in as soon as I get a final answer.

Guys dont forget about the national SVTOA track deal at Buttonwillow....good shot of the suspension designer for the 07 Cobra and 03 04 cobra being there and running his Grand Am Cobra with us....(Sat is the season final at California Speedway) then just load the rig and bring the whole deal to Buttonwillow...

Any of you running at Streets of willow in two weeks....there are a bunch of Stangs going :D

I did make the last meeting just couldn't think of every question before hand Hehehe More people would come if it is free to watch.

Slidemaster, yeah I started a thread for Howling at Buttonwillow a few threads down. I am not sure if I can get off work yet to go to the one on the 17th.

Its official, anyone is very welcome to come on down and check it out. :nice: If you want to participate, the fee applies. Darn cheap for some fun driving I think. :D

I believe we will.....unless its sold out...which I doubt because the full track is being run

Tschlientz...are you on the board with me??

Yes, I think that's true. I dont think sold out is a prob. If anything its the opposite. If people are going to attend (even if paying day of event), we need to get notifications in. As mentioned before if there are not enough confirmed participatants, the event will be cancelled.

Im still waiting on some more info, I'll post as soon as I hear anything.

Thanks.

Just noticed you're in Camarillo, are you guys coming down to San Diego for this thing, or is there a sister event going on up in LA?

Great! Ok next question. Will they be taking sign-ups at the event??

Ken

Latest word is yes, in fact its about the only option at this point. Will need to sign a release and such, I think pretty standard track event type thing. Would be great if you could download the form, fill it out and bring it with you to the event along with the fee. I'm told someone will be around a little early to help with signups.

I've already downloaded, printed, sent in check and passed flyer around for a couple of weeks now??

Luckily even though the web page was down, I received an advanced copy of the flyer to share with people.

Questions I am asking are from other people wanting to go. So basicaly I am speaking for more then just me...
