Ive been talking alot about how when I blow a headgasket, how it was going to be so nice because I was going to buy some Twisted Wedge heads. Well the time has come and now I realize that those cost money, money that I dont have. Im about as broke as my car is so new heads are outta the question(although im still up for donations ). I think its a shame to take all that apart just to be back at stock. I have a perfectly good dremel and I figured a lil porting cant be that hard. Ive found a little bit of info on 2.3 mustang sites, but not enough to make me comfortable doing this yet. How much power could I make with gasket matched with/minor porting? Links? Thanks in advance

Usually good head porting requires some sort of flow bench so that you can know if your head is flowing any better than it was. good luck with that headgasket too buddy.

i wouldnt waste the time on porting the stock heads. Just keep saving and buy the TW heads when you can.

Well...If'n it was me and the cash wasnt there, i'd scam one of those SA kits in the link and have at it...more air in, more sack you get...
I cant take anything apart without tweaking it some...
I would plan on disassembling the heads myself..the tool in the pic is like 25.00 and works just fine...then you have no worries of grit or grinding from cleaning em up...just bag and number as you tear it down...

If there off the car why not just clean em up some, thats the way I see it...
