Anyone have a convertible headliner, please talk to me

I know in 1993 they were standard.
Mine is a 1992 and I just recently had it installed. Fit and finished looked great!!! Until I lowered the top. The only problem area is the bend in the first (closed to the front) joint! The shop that did it used velcro right their. The shop is my father-in-laws, so I can't go in their guns a blazing. lol
So, if anyone has one installed, how did you have in hooked up in that area?

Any help would be most appreciated.

I know they only came in the 1993 convertibles. But I am assuming others have but them in different years.
