Anyone have a Steering Box Laying around???

The headers I plan to run in my 68 mustang will interfere with the stock type Ragjoint. In order to get them to fit I need to do this

but I don't know what the spline count is on the stock steering box, wondering if anyone has a box they can count the splines on or know what the spline count is.

I got my u-joint from flaming river, great quality and they knew the spline when I told them what car I had, and that it came with p/s.

So did you have to do the same mod? What is involved? Just cutting the end of the shaft and welding the U-joint in place? it sounds pretty simple. I will give them a call.

I got my u joint from www.borgeson.com I cut the rag joint off and welded a short stub shaft in the area where I cut the rag joint off. IIRC the spline count is 36 and it's a 3/4 inch shaft.
