This is obscure question, but does anyone have a picture of the inside of the seat on a 68 or 69 where the headrest bracket attaches? I am adding stockers to my 68 low backs. Thanks.

Shoguun, if the headrest is still attached I would appreciate it very much! Thanks. Tom

Well, you'll have to be more specific. The 68 and 69 stock headrests were completely different. The 68 was more rounded, with two round rods for support, while the 69 was more triangular, with one flat support.

I had no idea they are different. Mine are the 69 headrests that I hope to mount in my 68 seats.

Understandable, the 68 and 69 seats were identical, except for the headrests, which were a rare option in 68. I have used 69 seats in 68 cars just to add the headrest. There is now an excellent headrest kit from TMI to add this safety feature. When installed, although not "correct", it certainly looks like a factory item.

The TMI kit looks excellent, but I have 69 headrests that I hope to put in my 68 if I can assure myself of the correct mounting configuration within the seat.
