Just wondering, does anyone out there have an open Carfax account? I have a VIN that I would like to run, but thought I'd check first before buying an account.

The VIN is 1FAFP42X43F429382 and you could just email the results at:

Why bother ? Why not go to your dealer and ask them to run it adleast thats what I do.

Yeah but man, I ran adleast 6 VINS by my local dealer for Mustangs.... Then I just decided to get a new one due to all the shaddy crap I came across. If youve got a good relationship with your dealer, I dont see why the service dept wouldnt run it for you.

I didn't realize thats what you meant, I thought you meant why not go to the dealership where the car is located and run it. My bad
