Holeset turbos are good, but the one you have is on the large side. It would probably work on a 351-408, but a 302 will need a bit of rpm to get it spinning up. Usually something in the .90 range on the turbine will be a good cross between performance and driveability.

Are the Powerstoke's turbochargers different between the Econolines and F-250s? I hear they spool up slow, but a .83 wont....

$350 as is, $400 polished, I lost the box for it, but has never been used. It's Ball bearing, and spins beautifully. My E-mail is Jtotheiso187@yahoo.com if you are interested, or call me at 410-758-5456 and leave a messege for Joel.

woah! cheap!

the .83 hot versions are on the new ones and the vans. i think they are called the pt38 and they are ball bearing. the other powerstrokes are something like 1.10cold and 1.0 hot if i recall.. the one i have with the .83 hot will spool at about 2700.

Now that you mention they're on the new Powerstrokes, it makes sense seeing as how they were reduced in displacement from 7.3 to 6.0L.

And damn, $350 is smokin for a ball bearing turbo!
