just bought a pair of mac mufflers for my 05 gt. though i love the sound, it's driving me nuts that i am leaking exhaust gasses around my clamps. anyone have any advice?
I have the MAC's as well, and noticed a few drops of condensation coming from around the clamp area a few days ago. I'm going to try getting a set of better clamps because the ones that came with the kit sucked ass.
A question for you. Are both of your pipes centered within the cut-outs of your bumper? The left one is off centered for me.
tighten the clamps up a little more. my flows did the same thing, but i tightened them up a little more and no more leaks.
justin- if you cant get the mufflers centered by adjusting them at the inlet, try to loosen the clamps at the h pipe to over the axle pipe connection and adjust again. if that still does not work, you may need to bend the rods on the muffler for satisfactory fit.

The only problem I had with tightning them is tightning them to much, once you do that with standard round type clamps it dents the pipes together and thay are a bitch to get off.
does leaking contribute to popping when reving? I have had the Ford Racing round body mufflers on for like 5000 miles already and ever since I put them on when I rev it in park they pop sometimes...
