I saw on National Parts depot that they don't recommend polyurethane bushings on the 67 - 73 mustangs. Does anyone know why?

I plan on using them on my 77, wondering if it due to squeaks or something else.

On the early cars is has to do with an already corrosion weakened bar and a overly stiff bushing. People were breaking the bars off at the bushing because the poly bushing makes the bar flex and not the bushing. Make sure you have a good bar to start with there is usually some corrosion (rust) under the bushing that can weaken it.
