I think anything over 8K looks too purple but I guess it depends on the color of the car itself. I went for a slight blueish tint because my car is blue. for best visiblity though a ~4000K setup (pure white) is ideal.

Okay, 82Capri has the breath of god coming from his headlights....That looks crazy bright!

Either that, or the fire of 1000 suns?

lol they are really bright. i have the diamond clear headlights with the 10k HID kit. they are very bright an im constantly getting hi-beamed but the funny thing is i cant do it back to them cuz its only a low beam, its not a bi-xenon kit that has hi an low. but whats the need for hi beam HID's if i can see better with what i have then any normal hi beams.

heres the kit i have, prolly the best quality aftermarket kits made

haha. there actually no longer in my car, there in my gf's prelude where they belong. dont get me wrong i love the way the HID's looked in my car its just that when i see them comin my way, i automatically think of a import or a bmw. it being a mustang i kinda dont want it being any way affiliated with anything else lol. think i might just go with some silverstar ultra's an call it done. or get the bi-xenon kit haha. what you guys think?

Don't forget too that you can actually get ticked for using those....and that a well working stock headlamp setup will illuminate the road better than the plug and play HID setups.

And you run some liability if you use them.

If i'm driving down the road and someone with illegal HID's comes down the other side and blinds me, and I hit a pedestrian...the person with the HID's that blinded me could be held just as responsibe as I am.

There is a lot of shared responsibility on the road. If your actions cause a situation with another vehicle, then you are just as responsible.
