Anyone have the JLT full length intake kit?

I have seached and found a few posts about this kit. I really like the clean look from the single piece construction and no 90deg bend before the MAF is a plus in my book.
I am seriously considering ordering this, but I'd like to hear from some people that actually have it and like it or hate it.

On the De Molet (makers of DenseCharger CAIs) homepage there is a link to a comparison between the DenseCharger and the JTL units done by the Universal Technical Institue. The DenseCharger #9 wins out over the JTL CAI. Of course, this is on an '03 Cobra, so the results could be different for the '99/'01 with their kits...

It wins out because the air-fuel is leaner. The test needs to be equal, meaning same air-fuels otherwise the results are skewed.

I have a JLT RAI. It rocks. I mounted mine with the MAF at the factory 10 o'clock position. It makes great power and it looks beautiful.

I had a densecharger, and I replaced it with the JLT. I can't say I noticed an increase in power maybe a little but that may be mental. All I can say is the JLT looks awesome. The densecharger looks like a big piece of pvc pipe with some screw clamps holding it together(which it is). The JLT painted to match your exterior color looks awesome under the hood. The paint really matches well. I don't know how to post pics or I would. Just for appearance alone the JLT is worth it. I don't think you'll notice any difference in horsepower.
Both companies will give you great service John De Molet helped me out a couple of times when I had some odd questions. You can't go wrong either way. Send me your email address if you want pics I would be glad to send you some.

I have the JLT CAI, went from a stock piece...my 2nd favorite mod behind my 4.30 gears.

I wouldn't waste your money on a Pro-M until your motor is actually starving for air using the stock MAF. MAF's and injectors are usually matched to each other. Replacing the stock MAF with a larger aftermarket MAF without specifically tuning for the new MAF will cause major headaches in the long run.

When installing a JLT CAI the MAF gets relocated into the fender. This is done to prevent laminar airflow issues.

Ended up getting

Thanks for the replies.
I ended up getting a Ceramic coated WMS Velocity kit off Ebay for $60. Price was right and it's nice looking, should be here in a few days. I'll post my impressions when I install it.

Did you get the complete High Velocity Intake System or did you get just the Velocity Tube?

Lower

It's just the lower part, the fenderwell kit and filter.
I had this same lower kit on my 99 GT and I had the densecharger upper tb to maf. I may go that same route on this car. The densecharger upper is $65. I didn't really like the fact that the densecharger lower has (2) 90deg bends infront of the maf and this looks better imho

On a sidenote, has anyone heard whether the Green Filters post any real performance gains over other aftermarket filters?
