post pics if possible

I have the rears done, since I swapped the rear out, painted in black, wondering what the silver would look like since I have silver rims

I was just talking to a friend about doing this today

When I had the stock 98 rims, they weren't visible due to it being covered up, but with the black bullits you can see the rust badly

I have a red car with blue calipers (might paint them back to red) and was thinking about painting the "hat" silver or black. I assume flat black would be the way to go? View attachment 452959 Damn rusty looking rotors

I've done mine in black and my Son has done his in silver. I had thought when he was first done that I may have done mine in silver instead. Then, after awhile I seen where the silver attracts the dirt and brake dust as the black hardly shows.
I don't have the silver of my Son's but here are the black of mine.

hotrodnut & urban96,

how did you guys tape the rotors in a perfect circle like that before painting? Or what method did you guys used?

^They probably over sprayed and let the break pad wear the paint off the roter....thats what I would do.
