My tires were getting to the point of looking like slicks and my freind has a 05 Vette with the same situation so we went out and did the traditional tire roast/video shoot before getting new tires. (Ill post some video when I get it on my computer)

It was raining so I thought it wouldnt be too harsh on the tires and I could wait a few weeks. But afterwards the center of the tires had a nice strip of innards poking through so I had to get new tires today so I didnt get into an accident.

I called the tire place and they had some Dunlop Direzzas for $610 out the door so I did it without researching the tire. Does anyone else have these and how do they perform/last

$610 out the door. Am I one of the few who figured out this is for 4 tires? A couple of you made comments like - "Frickin' expensive" and "excellent tires if you have the coin that is". What kind of tires are the rest of you running that makes these sound sooo expensive?
BTW, 2003 Geee T - www.tirerack.com has these tires and has extensive info on them, including rating and comparisons.

Well I said "frikin' expensive" because ALL good tires aren't cheap lol. I didn't mean these Dunlops specifically.

Those are some excellent tires if you have the coin that is.
Goodyear F1 GS D3's are the best tire I ever put on my mustang period.

Expensive though. I got one hell of a discount and still paid close to $200 a tire (mounted and balanced).

Tires get expensive overtime.
I have Goodyear F1 GS D3's on my mustang.
I payed 270 each tire plus the warranty.
These tires are well worth the money since they have
long tread life and stick to the ground.
