Just finished a front end rebuild with modified UCS's, Shelby drop, new lowers, roller perches, 12.5" 2006 GT front brakes and a set of Bullitts. I like it, but then again it's mine so of course.... I might lower it another inch though

Nice Falcon,
I love Falcons. My first semi-custom ride, back in 1970, was a 63 Falcon convertible, 6 cyl, three on the tree that I properly converted to a 260-V8. Great ride! Lot's of fondle memories in that car.I've owned and loved several, and if parts were as readily available as for Mustangs, I'd have one now.

That's sweet! I love Falcons.

If it's old, and it's a Ford, I love it!

About 2 years ago, when I was driving over the road truck, I just missed out on the coolest Falcon wagon that was sitting just off the I-5 a little North of Sacremento. I had seen it sitting for over a year with back 1/2 covered (couldn't tell it was a 2 door) with a tarp. When I finally stopped to look, I found it was a white, 63, 2 door wagon with a 260, 4 speed, with Sprint buckets etc. The guy said he didn't know if it ran, but was hoping to get $500 for it. While I was standing there talking to the guy and making phone calls to find someone to help me get it to Las Vegas, some guy showed up with a trailer, pulled out $1000 and had it on the trailer and gone in 5-10 minutes!!!?? Boy, was I bummed. It even looked like the 4 speed may have been factory, as there was no evidence of the steering column ever having a shifter on it, And the car was ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE, right down to 5 lug 13 inch wheels with the little hub caps. DAMN, I'm still kickin' myself in the A$$ for not stopping sooner!

Freaking sweet!!. My Dad and I are in the process of restoring his 69 Mustang coupe and would love to do a early 60 Falcon. His first car was a Falcon Sprint.

Thanks guys. This is actually my second Falcon sedan. I had a 64 Futura that was my dd for years then decided to start fixing it up. My brother was hounding me about finishing it for years, so I gave it to him as a Christmas present last year. Now it's his problem

Latamud, love that wagon. I just got rid of my 69 Falcon wagon 1.5 yrs ago, and it wound up in Popular Hot Roddin' two months later Went from that to a 68 Cougar and to this Falcon (pics attached)

I'm with you 68stang351, old and Ford and I gotta have it....

Interesting reading about your Falcons. My first car was an Australian produced 1963 Falcon with that little six cylinder motor and two speed auto. We did not get imported models like the Falcon Sprint but a few have found there way here with a very nice 289 convertible owned by a member of my Muscle Car Club ...

And here's a pic of Jim Richard's Falcon Sprint that he races with success in our “Trans – Am” series...

Unfortunately due to the financial melt-down Ford America will probably closed down production of the Ford Falcon in Australia some time in the near future due to rationalization of their plan for global reform.

In the meantime, updated versions of the current Falcon FG model continue and the performance off-shoot – FPV is about to release an updated GT fitted with a blown Coyote up front. This configuration will produce 335 kw (450 HP) in stock form. http://www.fpv.com.au/the-new-boss-v8.aspx

I have a 1960 2dr that I am in the process of restoring, I have had it about 3 months. My Mustang probaly isnt too fond of me taking time away from her but what can you do.

Here is a picture of what the Falcon looked like when i got it (not bad for $600)

5280/4, I've checked out your site a few times for some future ideas. Love the suspension setup and the R-model front end. How difficult was it to fab up the export brace and monte carlo bar?

65coupe408w, that 60 is a sweet car and she's coming along nicely. Are you in Orlando by chance? Some of your pics remind me of my old neighborhood in Winter Park....

WOW . . . I'm in absolute awe!!!

You guys have given me hope and inspiration!! hehehe My family (we're a mom & son team) just bought his first car a 1967 Falcon sedan w/ a 200 c.i.d str8 6. The body isn't bad and the interior is pristine . . . only a few challenges. I've added a couple of pics & info here and some on my profile. And we've set up some photos on photobucket. So far it looks like it's going to be a sweet little project for us both to get our feet wet. We're really excited about learning. Honestly, I don't know who's more excited!!! (I'm sure he'll be setting up his profile with more pics soon.)

This is my first post but we will definitely introduce ourselves properly, share some stories (funny & sad), show our progress and ask TONS of questions. Please note, my ego isn't so big that I can at least hear all ideas and suggestions . . . you can offer . . . we really are a blank slate with a huge desire to learn . . . PS: I used to date a 2005 GT Mustang that posts here and he's the one that turned us on to this site . . . he used to be a wealth of info and really got me to embrace my inner . . . classic car girl . . . but alas LOLOL anyway . . . peace!!!

. . . The Beast @ Photobucket
