That's an AOD. 4 speed automatic with overdrive.

i stand corrected. it looked like it had a removable bell housing at first glance.

The giveaway was the rear corner of the trans pan showing. The AOD's the only one has those angled corners.

just about anywhere. you can order one from B&M, should be able to get one from the local checker auto also. this is a common transmission.

How do i know the year? I'm looked around online but i'm not sure which one i have. There seems to be 2-3 different kinds of AOD's rebuild kits available.

There should be casting numbers/date code on the trasmission somewhere. You are going to have to do a bit of work here to figure it out. Write down those numbers and find a chart on date codes etc
