Anyone installed aftermarket cd player with mach 460?

I have been looking into a dvd player for the stang. Has anyone installed a similar device? I have had a unit installed in my old taurus and had to run some type of harness from the trunk to the cabin of the car. I also had to disconnect the amp in the trunk.

I was curious if the mach 460 had the same type of installation procedure. I do not like the sound quality of the 6-disk changer in dash.
