Ya, they look great but a little "too white" for my tastes. I'm going with the 6k ones to match my Silverstar fogs.

Damn it! i need low/high to get it pass inspection.
my local inspecter told me that as long as its function as it was intended(having low beam and high beam), he'll pass the inspection without aim test

Well, you can install the kit and it's a simple removal to put back your old bulbs when you go to inspection.

is it just me, or does it seem like all the HID kits are kinda narrow as far as light dispersment is concerned?

Because it looks to me, that the light is just being scattered. You have to properly aim the light to get maximum lighting effects

i think those pics are from a car with projectors, thats why there is such a clean cutoff line.
this is one of the pics from mustang mods.

and another

notice how in both pics the light dispersment is very narrow. thats what i was talking about

Like I said, you need to properly aim the light, via retrofitting them, or a projector headlamp?

Those look like theyre in the stock housing.

I haven't, but give him some time. If he doesn't get it to us by today, I'm sure he'll extend the payment due date by a day also.

BTW, this GP is not closed. Any names after this post won't qualify for the GP price.

BTW, i been following this thread on another forum about a guy who got some HID's with his stock housing. I cant wait to get mine. His look great. CHeck out the rest of the pages to see what they look like after he adjusted them down a bit with his stock housing. There's more pix on the rest of the pages.

Ya, that kit is a bit cheaper but the thread starter had no idea as to what brand the ballast is.

True, which is why i went with this group purchase. However, I simply wanted to show the guys here in this thread some pix of what we can expect once we get them on... I havent seen so many good pix on hid's on our mustangs, especially some comparing our plug n play kit to a bmw m3's. ITs gonna look good.

Ya, his sure does. I hope everyone knows that there won't be as flat of a cut off line as a true projector has, but the "glare" isn't as bad as everyone always says it is by looking at those pics.

I wonder how hard it would be to fashion some type of deflector to place behind the bulb in the stock lense?

Probably not difficult, but i'm not worried about that. I'm buying this kit for increased visibility, and for the look, it will give me both. I dont care about glare, or cut off lines, or any of that chit. (though some would say I should). So i'm not gonna listen to the naysayers. Its not the best as far as HID's and housings go, but it looks to be a hell of a lot better than what we got already, and its for a decent price. Whatever I can do to make my mustang stand out while increasing the "driveability" of my mustang makes me happy.

Anyone get a email from Matt yet? I emailed him and he hasn't responded as of yet.

I'm sure he's just busy.

OK all, I got an email from Matt with the codes.

We're just trying to figure out how to distribute the codes to members. I guess the easiest way is to PM me and I'll give out the code to those who signed up.
