I installed an RRS phase 1 kit, 3 years ago. I got it thru NPD, they new the factory rep at the time, he ended up selling me the kit that they were using at the SEMA show at the time. It was a struggle to get, to say the least. I was doing a V8 conversion on a 66 convert for a customer and he wanted something better in the suspension, but not a MII . The kit was very straight forward and a very simple, quick install. On this car I used the stock strut rods and lower control arms and a unisteer manual rack. The steering shaft for the rack was the only difficult part of the swap. The spindles are produced for RRS and are designed so camber can be set easily, any where you want it! The way it is designed, caster isn't adjustable, but it would be easy to make it so. The way it was, caster came in around 5 degrees positive. When all finished and aligned the car handled extremely well, it was a blast to drive. It is just a simple strut system and many will say that unequal length A arms are the only way to go, but this system works great and isn't that much different than what a new Mustang uses.
As far as replacement parts, I think, (I don't have the info with me at this time) that the phase 1 pads are from an early 200o's Pontiac. I will try to find my info, but I think the rotors, redrilled, were Corvette
