anyone know if an 89 302 can be put on a 94 mustng gt?

Hey guys. Sorry to hit you with the newbie questions so soon. I am in a bind though. I have a 94 mustang 5.0 ho. i'm ready to buy another block and start building another motor. I have found a good deal on a block but its from an 89 fox style mustang. Does it matter? I am looking for the easiest way to drop a motor in so i didnt want to get stuck on all kinds of modifications. I would be purchasing just the block from this guy but i didnt want to take his word on it. pls help!

also, would my intake bolt right on or am i better off just buying the same year motor?

yes, just use all your accessory brackets

It will fit, you will just have to use your timing chain cover, and all the accessories off of your old motor, and put them on the 89 block. My block that I run in my car now, is from a 91, so yes it does work

Thanks guys! also, should i use the same heads thats on that motor? the guy is willing to sell them too or is better off to buy new ones?

building a new motor? Buy some better than stock flowing heads methinks

For instance: I have a set of ported iron Windsor Jrs for $600 that would work great with a fresh 302. Fully assembled. Where are you located?
