I see they have 2 types, one that is the lower control arm with spring perch, and another that I guess bolts next to the lower control arm but I cant tell for sure. Which one is better or are they both no good. Also, where can I get info about megabites, thanks

I have the lakewoods with the "spring Perch" and they accually helped my car tremindously. No more wheel hop and no more squirly(almost spinning out) when i mash the gas from a start. I think the reason these are so much better than the others because they accually relocate the control arm rather than just replacing it. They lowered the rear of my car and gave me one hell of a launch....... hope this helps

I've talked to some guy's who are running Lakewood Trac Bars' and they say they are alright but they definetly aren't the greatest on the street. Ride quality and noise is the SH**'s. I personally feel installing good Upper & Lower Control Arm's and Poly Bushing's in the rear end housing is the only way to go. I done exactly that when I had just the stock 5.0 in my stang and launch and traction was greatly improved. Ride quality was stiffened up a bit but definetly not as bad as Trac. Bars.

Traction Bars are For the 60's & 70's.
